About value chain its products are made from carefully selected sustainable materials: a combination of organic, natural fabrics, recycled fibers and wide variety of up-cycled materials. 

All its products are proudly manufactured locally in the Northern Europe. 

All cardboard boxes the brand uses are FSC-certified. It uses Re-Zip reusable packaging for online orders and the garment bags are 100% bio-degradeable, home-compostable and marine-safe bio-plastics.

Moreover, it uses DHL's GoGreen climate neutral service.

During the years the brand has supported a great number of organizations such as: Doctors without Borders, Danner (Womens safehouse in Copenhagen), Together We Push (non-profit organization helping refugee families with children at the Danish deportation center Sjælsmark), Girls 2 Girls, Black Lives Matter, Fashion Revolution, WWF - World Wildlife Foundation and more.

Moreover, Mahla is proud to be a supporting member of Alakulttuurikeskus Loukko (Loukko Center of Subcultures). Loukko is a venue for arts, cultural happenings and meetings, operates on the principle of a safer space and aims at being accessible on all levels. The brand supports their work with yearly payments.
